Freedom

It takes a lot of energy to not be yourself.

A lot of us spend that energy managing the image, instead of doing the work. We edit the photo. We exaggerate the win. We chase validation.  We try to fix an internal issue using external methods.

But confidence and freedom doesn’t come from polishing the outside.  It comes from keeping promises to yourself on the inside.

If you want to like what you see in the mirror, do differently.  Do what you said you would do. Make your actions follow your intentions. Treat people well. Stick to the workout. Honor the diet.

We love ourselves more when we can trust ourselves…and we trust ourselves more when our actions line up with our words.

So, for the week ahead, stop editing yourself.  Stop performing.  Don’t measure yourself based off your intentions.  Measure yourself by your actions. Always choose discipline over shortcuts.
Why? Because self control and discipline are the two biggest ingredients when it comes to personal freedom.
